Relais & Châteaux Bülow Palais

This is one of those rare hotels that fills all the boxes; excellent beds, the breakfast is truly delicious as is the food in the restaurant. The location is good because within 5 minutes you are in a local shopping street, and in 10-15 minutes in town. 10 minutes the other way is a trendy / hip area full of ethnic and vegan restaurants. Parking in the street is cheap and safe, but there is a garage too. For those who would like a cigar with their brandy there is a cigar lounge. The personel are friendly and very helpful!

At first I was hesitant in booking a hotel which was not in the Old Town but it was the best thing to do as you were close enough to walk to the main sights whilst being able to escape the crowds. There were plenty of restaurants nearby which were reasonably priced. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The hotel staff were very professional and eager to help with any inquiries. There was an underground carpark the cost of which was included in our package as was a very good buffet breakfast.

Very service-oriented, friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed as soon as we approached the building. They greeted us outside and helped us unload our car, even parked for us. Rooms were spacious and spot clean. Breakfast was the best we ever had… and we know a lot of luxury hotels. During the day the restaurant was rather empty, as well as the bar at night, except there are events hosted.

I took advantage of a special offer to stay while visiting Dresden as a tourist. Very comfortable and well appointed, if a little formal in ambience. Really excellent wine pairing with the 3-course menu, and outstandingly warm welcome from Cornelia at the front desk
